Dear Esteemed Colleagues,

I am honoured to welcome you all to the 6th Congress of Asian Pacific Federation of Societies for Reconstructive Microsurgery (6^th APFSRM) to be held at Delhi from March 8^th to 10^th, 2024. First, let me thank Secretary General Prof. K Doi and the Council Members for giving the Indian Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery (ISRM) an opportunity to host this congress. APFSRM will be combined with the 16^th Biennial conference of the Indian Society for reconstructive Microsurgery on 7^th March 2024. Indian Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery is a vibrant society with very active members in various stream of reconstructive Microsurgery like Extremity reconstruction, Head and neck reconstruction, Breast reconstruction, Lymphedema Surgery, Composite hand allotransplantation and super microsurgery. The organising committee is committed to providing a world-class conference experience for all attendees, with cutting-edge scientific content and ample opportunities for networking and collaboration to excel in the microsurgical field.

The congress will be held at The Leela Ambience Hotel, Gurugram, Delhi, offering you a comfortable and relaxing environment during your stay. Delhi, capital of India is well connected to all the participating nations and the major cities of the Indian subcontinent. While you are here, we encourage you to take advantage of the opportunity to explore the fascinating city of Delhi. On behalf of the council members of the Asian Pacific Federation of Societies for Reconstructive Microsurgery (APFSRM), I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the Indian Society of Reconstructive Microsurgery for organizing the 6^th Congress of APFSRM (6^th APFSRM). Although the previous congress (5^th APFSRM) was held in 2021 in Tsukuba Japan one year behind the schedule owing to the pandemic of COVID-19, the inbound of foreigners was still strictly restricted. Most foreign lecturers participated in the meeting online. The 6^th APFSRM congress will be the first face-to-face meeting after the COVID pandemic, apart 5 years from the 4^th APFSRM congress in Turkey.

The Indian Society of Reconstructive Microsurgery has produced plenty of achievements and performed great contributions to develop reconstructive microsurgery in the world as well as the Asia Pacific area. We are excited to attend the congress hosted by a society having such a glorious history.
